AJ1 Maximus was made out of 100% Veg Tan leather. Each shoe part was hand stamped with an unique pattern design and edges painted red. Mink oil was added to protect the materials from the hazards of the environment and to darken the stamp lines increasing the contrast of the design. The parts were sewn in with a Burgundy color 69 Bonded Nylon thread to connect with the red edge paint and Burgundy interior lining made of soft lamb skin.
